China is home to much of the world's battery and power electronics supply chain, and buyers of large-scale commercial and industrial storage increasingly source complete systems from Chinese manufacturers. MPMC Energy Tech in Yangzhong, Jiangsu, opened in 2025 with USD 27 million of investment, a 19,000 m² workshop and a 3,300 m² R&D centre. It runs semi-automatic and fully automatic battery pack lines and fully automatic BESS assembly lines, and sits in an industrial base that accounts for around 30% of China's domestic market for high- and low-voltage switchgear, busbars and cable trays, giving short supply lines for the electrical components every storage system needs.

MPMC itself was founded in 2008 in Shanghai, was the first Chinese diesel generator set manufacturer listed on the NEEQ, and has delivered products to more than 120 countries and territories, giving storage buyers a supplier with long export experience.

Tier-One Cells and Robust Engineering

HBD-A systems use LFP 314Ah cells rated for 8,000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge, and the HBD-1000-2000A units delivered to Europe use CATL LFP battery packs in a dual-PCS parallel architecture with nine high-voltage cabinets per unit, housed in full-weld 20HQ containers with C4 coating, aerogel insulation and IP55 protection.

MPMC's own EMS and SCADA support PQ, VF, VSG, black start and grid-forming modes, with ten years of data retention, automated reports and an SL3-level cybersecurity framework, so the control layer is developed and supported by the same company that builds the hardware.

International Approvals

MPMC operates under ISO 9001:2015, ISO 45001 and ISO 14001, and its products carry CE, TUV, SGS, UL, France BV and UN38.3 approvals, supporting tenders in Europe, the Middle East and beyond.

Delivered Across Europe and the Middle East

MPMC's large-scale references show the supplier at work on demanding projects. In Hungary, two HBD-500-1000 and three HBD-1000-2000 units form an 8 MWh green power plant for frequency regulation, peak shaving and load balancing. In the Netherlands, an 8 MWh grid-connected storage plant of four 2 MWh units provides frequency regulation, and a 3.2 MWh system serves C&I peak shaving. Five HBD-1000-2000A units of 2,097 kWh each form a further 8 MWh system delivered to Europe, and in Dubai, ten HBD-500-1000 systems power off-grid concrete batching plants with about 20% lower OPEX.

Beyond storage, MPMC can supply generator sets and BCH mobile BESS chargers from its own factories, allowing a facility to source storage, backup generation and EV charging from one supplier with a shared EMS. Its Twins Power solution, which pairs the MPME2700S-2-SC twin-engine diesel generator set, rated 2,702 kW prime at 13.8 kV, with commercial and industrial battery storage for AI data centres, cloud computing centres and other critical infrastructure, shows the two product lines working together.

Every project includes design consultation, product customisation, factory testing, logistics and commissioning support, and HBD-A systems carry a 5-year product warranty and a 10-year battery performance warranty with at least 70% capacity retention.
