MPMC POWERTECH CORP. (MPMC), established in 2008 and headquartered in Shanghai Pudong, manufactures generator sets, battery energy storage systems, hybrid power stations, solar lighting towers and BCH mobile BESS chargers in its own factories, and has delivered products to more than 120 countries and territories. For European construction sites, where contractors balance reliable power with working-hour noise rules, emissions targets and the move to electric machinery, MPMC supplies generator sets and battery storage designed to work as one system, so a site gets dependable power from day one and runs quieter and cleaner as the project progresses.
Construction sites usually operate without a permanent grid connection during the build, and their load changes week by week: welfare cabins and offices first, then tower cranes, hoists, pumps and concrete plant, and finally lighter fit-out loads. The power system needs to scale with these phases and redeploy as the work moves across the site.
Many European sites sit close to homes, schools and offices, so local rules often limit generator operation in the evening, overnight and at weekends. Contractors also work to carbon and air-quality commitments, and more of them are bringing electric excavators, loaders and site vehicles onto their projects. The most effective answer combines right-sized generator sets with battery storage, adding solar lighting and mobile charging where they fit.
MPMC SR Series silent generator set built to European rental standards.MPMC's generator range spans 9 kVA to 3,750 kVA and includes an SR rental type built to Australian and European rental standards, SR2 silent units with noise reduction of up to 35 dB(A), and SC super-silent containerised units resistant to heat, corrosion and water. The Haimen smart factory, a 22,000 m² facility with a CNAS-accredited test centre, specialises in high-end customised generator sets including Euro V emission generator sets and municipal rental units. CNAS-documented models comply with ISO 8528-5:2018 and meet CE conformity requirements for containerised and silent types.
For contractors moving away from fossil diesel, HVO to EN 15940 and B20 biofuel blends are supported on selected Cummins models, and MPMC's wider platform covers natural gas, methanol and biofuel at B35 and above. Engines from Perkins, Cummins, Baudouin, Scania, Kubota and other partners, with Stamford or Leroy-Somer alternators, let rental companies and contractors standardise on brands supported through their global service networks.
The HBD-R Series is MPMC's mobile battery storage range, designed for the rental market and as a companion to generator sets. Units from 30 kW / 61.44 kWh to 610 kW / 610.6 kWh parallel with DSE, ComAp, DEIF, Woodward, Smartgen, CAT EMCP and Cummins PCC controllers. With HBD-R covering peaks and motor starts, the generator runs at an efficient load point of around 75%, and during quiet hours the battery supplies the site alone. Its specialised rental structure offers up to 50% lower O&M cost, and units are CE certified with 6,000 cycles at 90% depth of discharge.
At one UK site, local noise rules kept generators off from 17:00 to 07:00 and on Sundays; six HBD-30-60 units supplied the site silently overnight and at weekends. At another, a 56 kW generator was serving night loads of 3 to 6 kW; adding a 30 kW / 60 kWh HBD-R unit stretched refuelling from every 2 days to every 7 days and maintenance from every 10 days to every 60 days. MPMC product data associates genset and HBD-R pairing with fuel savings of up to 75%.

For site offices and welfare units, MPMC's GSB hybrid power stations combine slide-out solar panels, LFP storage and a generator in one mobile unit from 10 kVA to 120 kVA, while HSL solar lighting towers light 12,000 m² to 24,100 m² each with no fuel. The HSL-1500B, for example, raises its mast at the touch of a button and travels between work zones on a trailer rated for 80 km/h.
As electric machinery joins the fleet, BCH Series mobile BESS chargers deliver fast DC charging on site. In Norway, a 2 MWh BCH system with CCS2 output of 360 kW at 400 A charges electric construction machinery at a location with no grid access, and every BCH unit reaches full operation within 24 hours of arrival.

MPMC is one of the few Chinese manufacturers able to supply generator sets, battery storage and mobile BESS chargers from its own factories, so a contractor or rental company can source a coordinated site power system from one supplier, monitored through one SCADA platform with real-time remote monitoring and proactive maintenance alerts. Generator sets are load-tested from 0% to 110% before shipment, and HBD-R units carry a 3-year system warranty and a 5-year battery performance warranty. The same platform scales to the largest projects: 35 Cummins-powered units supply 33.5 MW of rental construction power in Saudi Arabia, and four 750 kVA units in 20HC super-silent containers, rated at 75 dB(A) at 7 m, power a 3 MW commercial building project in New Zealand. Rental companies and leasing operators are a core customer group, and distributors can access OEM customisation and private-label arrangements.

Yes. MPMC manufactures generator sets and HBD-R battery storage in its own factories, and HBD-R units parallel with major generator controllers, so the two work together as one hybrid system.
During restricted hours the HBD-R supplies the site on its own, silently, as six HBD-30-60 units did overnight and on Sundays at a UK construction site.
HVO to EN 15940 and B20 biofuel blends are supported on selected Cummins models, helping contractors meet lower-carbon fuel commitments.
Light welfare and office loads are well matched to the HBD-30-60, while larger compounds and tower crane sites can use the HBD-100-200, HBD-250-400 or larger liquid-cooled models up to 610 kW.
Yes. BCH Series mobile BESS chargers deliver 80 kW to 600 kW of DC charging and are already charging electric construction machinery off-grid on a 2 MWh project in Norway.
